Nice date spot. Cool, airy ambiance sitting outside by the trees and fountains.

Shout out the the waiter Alex for being so friendly and welcoming!

    VERDICT:
Good location for people-watching while you eat. Food is meh and fairly expensive. In retrospect, I should've just eaten before and just joined my coworkers to chat.

    LOCATION:
Let's start with the good. The Grove is a great tourist destination, and you get to sit in the middle of it. You're right next to the fountain and all the lights (if around Christmas time). If you're looking for a quick-ish drink or bite before the movies, this is very close. Interesting to watch all the types of people walking around.

    FOOD:
Food comes from the nearby Blue Ribbon restaurant. At first, you'd think the menu's pricing is great, most items are in the $10-15 range. Then our plate of 5 meatballs ($14) comes in. They are like the size of a foosball/cherry tomato! Ridiculous that it'd be almost $3 a pop, I could get a macaron from the nearby Laduree instead. Maybe the cost is to cover the BBQ sauce that drenches each meatball. Each bite is just BBQ in meat-form.

While the fries are pricey, $11, you do get a huge mound of fries on a plate. We got both the truffle fries and cheese fries. The truffle oil wasn't overpowering but did taste chemical-y, like what you'd get from artificial truffle oil. The cheese fries clumped together and wasn't as cheesy as I'd imagine.

    DRINKS:
I didn't order any though my coworkers did so unfortunately I can't comment too much here. Visually it did seem like there were a lot of ice in each glass.

    SERVICE:
Server was nice, gave us a heads up that the kitchen was backed up, and made an effort to bring out food ASAP so we could make it to our movie. Didn't feel that they came by our table once all the food came out until it came to paying.

    DETAILS:
    November Friday, 8pm

I don't know who's in charge of this place but you should train the two women who open at lunch time, some customer service.
There is a sign saying it opens at noon. I was there at 12:05. You couldn't go in as it was blocked by chairs. One of the woman was counting change (that should be done before you open).  I asked, are you open? The one with the change didn't answer. The other one shouted, no yet.
No wonder the restaurants at The Grove are closing. Who is training these lazy people?
Please Mr. Caruso, bring somebody capable of treating customers with respect. You are king in doing things well, didn't succeed with these two employees. They deserve to be fired.

Decided to have a cute mother/daughters dinner after a day of shopping at the grove. The ambiance is so cute at this place. They put tables right by the fountains and you get to people watch and enjoy the water/music. So why did I rate them at 2 stars?

Well after sitting down, we found out that this place is an extension of the sushi restaurant "blue ribbon" where my sister and I had a bad experience. However, we decided to stay and give its owners a second shot. Service is great, we ordered a couple of drinks, the truffle fries and lobster roll. Everything came in a timely manner but when we took out our utensils to eat, we saw the the ute were dirty. Kinda makes you wonder if the food is sanitary. Anyways, we got another set of utensils and gave the food a go. Very little truffle on the fries and not enough lobster in the roll. Drinks were kinda weak but they had a good taste.

I probably won't go back but if I do I'll just sit at the bar and order a drink (double shot)

This is a very nice outdoor spot if your interested in having a relaxing day at the Grove. Nice selection of cocktails , signature drinks  and mixed drinks beer and wine.  Beautiful outdoor setting along side the water fountain to feel good music .we had some calamari and side of truffle fries. Little pricey but your paying for the setting and location. Calamari was little dry and truffle fries were over cooked .. it was still okay but not fantastic. I mostly enjoyed the scenery sipping a rose while my daughter has a mojito.
Service was slow for that reason I gave it 4 star server never came and asked if we needed anything else or even water .  Still an awesome location and front row to the fountain show synced to music on a beautiful day.
